curiosity killed the cat...but cats have nine lives

its finally sunny in san mateo. and i realized that a lot of people have commented on my blogs. i didnt even know that people read my stuff. i usually just write this all down so that i can clear my head. so thanks

this years been different. i've made a lot of new freinds. some were old that i reconnected with. some were new that i've seen around college. some i just never thought i'd ever meet.i do miss some of my old friends because its werid but the new freinds you make dont knwo you like the ones you've known since grade school. but the weird thing is, you still get along just fine.

after making new friends you dont know how you've gotten by so long without knowing them. and of all this, i think what i like about people is that each person is a little different and they bring something new to the table. like salt brings out flavor in food, people bring a new paradigm shift to your perspective that lets you see the world in a whole new way. but you have to be
careful where you step because you never know how deep the river is.

but im never careful. and while i know its wise to think twice, i'd rather live my life no regrets. so then i think that if i think twice, i might think what would have happened if. and i dont want that.

i've realized my room is filled with junk. junk i dont need. i desperately want to get rid of it all. start new. my walls are so covered you wouldnt be able to tell what colour they were. my wall is probably more 3-d than imax could ever get. i take my things i like but have no wehre to store and tape it onto my walls or nail it down and smile. nails, hammers, and thick clear tape is my best friend. but i think ill take off some of it. start new. i've done that before. i feel like i can seriously let go of what's happened when i do. and i think maybe its time to do that again. clean off the slate. and recreate again. plus, i've lost a few things i'vce been meaning to find.

on the drive home from an awkward moment, the radio was playing Weezer's i want you to. then it playd cant stop by red hot chilipeppers. then i went to another channel and they were playing red hot chillipeppers otherside. and i thought it would be pretty sick if they too playd weezer's i want you to. then right as my trip was about to end, it started to play weezer's i want you to. two radio stations that went and completed a circle with each other. i was like woah. that was sick. i wish sometimes that life did that.

why?

When people think that they need help with a problem like how to fix a broken relationship, or how to make someone like them, how to loose weight, or any self help program and they go looking in the internet, i would say that is the number one mistake they are making.

the internet does have lots of people's voices and opinions that may be encouraging or sounds like it helps....but how much does the person who wrote the article know you, or what you're going through, or anything about you besides your ip address? basically, the internet has tons of articles. but most of the the time they all tell you the same thing in different versions because most of the authors of the article generalize and assume that you fit into this imaginary catagory that they've created mainly so that they know who their audience is. usually, what the author is saying doesn't fit for your catagory. and if it does, then maybe the article is very vague and tells you waht you already know; only rephrased to sound smarter...because the author wants to seem like they are helping you, but only really telling you the basic elementary story.

what i'm trying to say is that the internet does cater to you in a way; but when it gets down to the details, it really just makes assumptions that you are this person, or the problem you are dealing with is caused or can be fixed by a certain thing...and thats usually never the case.

if that isnt it, then really you should consider the validity of the article. if you search soemthing on google, theres no way in telling who really wrote it. it might have been some sophisticated middle school student who got a head start in learning their SAT vocab and wants to practice. or maybe theres a man who acts like he's a billionare, tells you how to get there, but in real life, is maybe going through bankruptsy.

if that isnt it, then dude think about it. yeah, maybe the author is writing from a waay different point of view or a super similar view (if that's the case, and you think the way you think is wack, why are you thinking about listening to what they have to say??). but really, who sais that what you think is not important or that what they think is correct. there's really no wrong or right way to deal with things. okay there maybe some wrong ways and those are what mistakes are made of. and if you make a mistake, as long as you learn from them, its really not the end of the world.... usually.

the one thing that is viable, reliable, and usually (if not always correct) is what you belive and what that means to you. if you believe in god and need help, pray. if you believe in detoxing adn yoga, do that and dwell on your delema. really, the only one who knows how to deal with something very (or kind of) personal to you is what you knwo about yourself. if you knkwo that you always get in trouble, dont act hastily. if you knwo that lots of times unless you really pray about it and seek guidence to get the answer, do that. if you think that rearranging your chi helps, by all means reaarange untill you're all through.

the point is that sometimes althought the net is great and textbooks enlighten us, they dont know you like you do. and so always question what you hear or read adn think for yourself. dont just absorb it all and think that you can stop thinking because you've heard all the ideas that sound smart. because you can absorb all the info you want but in the end, without thinking for yourself, you're gonna end up a bloated ugly sponge....kinda like sponge bob...foolish. only the difference is you're not a cartoon and even he thinks for himself. absorb all you want but be sure to digest it too.

vine parties and going to the apples is where its at

I woke up like around 7:20am this morning. i have not gone up this early since.....summer camp at santa barbara? yeah. it was sort of hard. i woke up, ate, and drove to escalon. its estimated to take about 2.5 hours from my house to here. its been like 4 hours since i've landed at escalon. but i got here in like 1.5 hours....esca-where u ask? its right by modesto. theres a road there that you go through here to get to Yosemite. yeah. not very big. actually, its pretty big...but its all mostly farm land. lots of orchards, grape vines, cows and corn fields!

so what am i doing here? im visiting morgus borgus. she lives here. we met at ucsc adn are pretty awesome friends. she took me on a tour here. ther are like 8 or 9 churches, an elementary school, middle school, and a highschool. one bar. lots of farms. and everyone basically knows everyone. theres one mansion that used to be an old hospital thats basically historic. morgus's mom takes pottery every tuesday night at their estate. apparently their fam and morgus' fam are pretty tight. they have one dog thats friggin adorable and there like old now. but apprently been good friends for like ever.

it seems like a pretty awesome place to grow up. super relaxing. football is big here. i feel like im in texas. i've never been but i guess it would be like this? im not sure. but it sounds like it. like its conservitive adn loves football and everyone knows everyon. hahha. the novelty of it had worn off for morgus. but to me, its super awesome. like you're freinds with ur teachers, you know everyone. theres COWS everywehre. GOATS walking arund. adn lots of farms. there were corn fields adn this is the best part. there's this tomato truck that went by and its this truck with so many tomatoes on it, i freaked out. i've never seen anything like it! and apparently there are trucks with dead cows that go around every so often as well.

apparently, around here, there are no house parties because cops have nothing to do so you can get pulled over for anything. so where do they party? dude the apple orchards or the grape vines. so they usually say theres a party at the vines or their going to the apples. pretty legit.

oh and the thing was, morgus drives a super old bug. its red and kinda my dream car. close. like second place. my fav car that i super duper want: carman ghia '75 or something. next is a super old bug. cuz they cute! hahah. dude she has two keys: one for the door and one for the ignition. crazyyyy! it was for some reason, fitting listenin to country in her bug as i got a tour of this little country town that no one knows about.
...and i hate country hahah. but i didn't mind it. superr werid.

popewired

drama. i dont need it. its stupid. aand a waste of time.
then it got me thinking, why are girls so addicted to it? why cant everyone jsut be nice to each other adn say what they mean? then i realized. duh. becase not everyone likes each other and we're taught to be polite from a very young age. so like really goign up to someone and telling them "you suck" isnt polite so instead you say "thats intersting" while thinking wow when will this girl shut up. so then the girl is mislead. thinks that you appreaciate her company. but you tell someone what you really thought. girl finds out. girl talks smack about you behind your back. and Poof. a surefire recepie for a war. ever watch mean girls? yeah this is how it all really starts. oh and wehn people are jelous of others, they talk smack too. really its just stupid.

drama to girls is like cars to men.

not all men are addicted to them and not all girls love drama. either way, chances are that where there are girls, there is drama. and where there are guys is usually where a car show or a car dealership or just a single car is around.

then i thought, wow waht is it with guys and cars. like lots of guys just like to work on cars that are crappy and make them "amazing." my dad did that with a mustang, i know someone who tried to fix up a karmanghia, and another friend souped up his mazda, while another just got a crappy mustang. etc. its like nothing new. its an expensive hobby.

most hobbies are expensive. like music. if you like music and play an instrument, chances are if you get really into it, you have some really nice instrument(s). or art, art supllies cost a buttload. or if your hobby was fashion, you would either spend a fortune on clohtes and purses and accesories or make your own. either way, an arm and a leg. or if you liked to surf or sail. surfing requires a good suit and a great board. a car that can carry all ur crap. sailing requires a boat and a lifejacket. computers. people who build comps pay a lot for parts but they always say its cheaper than buying it premade. and if you like cameras and taking photos, you spend a fortune on lenses or the camera or maybe you develop film yourself = more chemicals and paper you need and a dark room, etc. really the only hobby that doenst cost a leg is like walking or the park or like i dunno people watching. baking isnt too bad but it costs you lots in medical bills if sweets with lots of butter is all you really eat.

wow money doenst come in easy but it goes away CO2 when you breathe.
